UK Student Visa Latest Update and New Rules 2024
Visa Fee Increase: The Increased Visa Free Increase Proposed hike affects international students, including Indian Students. Along with this, applicants have to pay higher fees and health surcharges to the National Health Service (NHS).
Fee Hike: UK PM Rishi Sunak confirmed that all the visa categories will be increased by 5-7% to support wage increases for public workers like junior doctors, police, and teachers.
No Increased Borrowing: The UK government aims to avoid the inflation centers by not increasing the borrowings.

- All other Visa costs will increase by a minimum of 20%.
- Now Students may have to pay an Immigration Health Surcharge of £776 per year (earlier it was £470)
