Canada Federal Skilled Program was launched by Canada in 1967 to select immigrants from all over the world. This world’s first points-based system to select immigrants in which the candidates are chosen by using objective criteria based on the candidate’s age, education, language skills, work experience, and occupation, among other factors. Benefits of Canada Federal Skilled Program:
- Canada plans to accept more than 110,000 immigrants through Express Entry by 2024. Most successful Express Entry applicants move to Canada using the FSWP program.
- A study by the Canadian government shows that immigrants from the FSWP program have successful and happy jobs in Canada.
- Also, applying for immigration through the FSWP is good because you can get permanent residency in six months, which is faster than other skilled worker programs in Canada.
